About Us

My name is Anne, I am the very happy owner of Waggingtons Dog Walking. I have had dogs and pets in my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with Great Danes, in fact we had four of them over the years plus a litter of puppies! My  family also had black lab, a cockapoo, cats and guinea pigs. My two amazing dogs now are my 8 year old Chihuahua Sonny Doggy (AKA Sonny Bunny, Sunbun, Sonny the Sausage), and my 2 year old Maremma Sheep Dog  Aunt May Roofus (AKA May, Maymay, Crazy Maysey). I have an extensive career in Health Care, I worked as a Developmental Services worker for 5 years and as a Dental Hygienist for 14 years. Though they were both great careers, I really wanted to switch directions and find something that made me truly happy. In 2017 I started walking dogs and pet sitting as a side gig and absolutely fell in love with it, I made one of the best decisions of my life and opened Waggingtons at the end of 2018. I am currently picking away at my dog training certification, I love spending time with my family, staying active, running, rollerblading, yoga and of course plenty of walking.
